The GREEN GLOBE method is a

ground breaking innovation in the

production of fertilizers.

Eco-Friendly, affordable, and high-value.

THE CHALLENGE

Reduce the impact of fertilizer to climate change and pollution,

and also to reduce sewage sludge

THE FACTS

IMPACT OF FERTILIZER TO CLIMATE CHANGE

  • Approx. 60 % of all Methane (CH4)-emission and 80 % of Laughing Gas (N2O)-emission in Germany origin from agriculture.
  • In 2017 the German agriculture industry provided for 66.3 million tons Carbondioxid. (CO2)-equivalents, about 7,3 % of the total emission of greenhouse gases.
  • Laughing Gas is generated when using Nitrate and is a climate killer 300 times more effective than co2.
  • Production of artificial fertilizer is highly energy-consuming as nutrients have to be extracted / produced synthetically.

IMPACT OF FERTILIZER TO POLLUTION

  • Conventional artificial fertilizer contain the main nutrients Nitrate, Potash, and Phosphate.
  • These nutrients are leached by rainwater (lessivage) and pollute the ground water. The loss of nutrients through leaching requires fertilizer being dispensed multiple times throughout the planting cycle.
  • Nitrates are toxic substances that can cause cancer and, in conjunction with water, transform to pollutants Ammonia NH3 and Laughing Gas N2O.
  • More than 32% of German farmland exceed the Nitrate limits .

SEWAGE SLUDGE OVERFLOW

  • Germany produces 2 million tons annually seage sludge (net dry quantities) and fermentation sludge from biogas plants. The whole E.U. produces 9.1 million tons.
  • Sewage sludge is disposed through waste combustion (65%) or agricultural use  (24%).
  • Cost of disposal of sewage sludge is approx. 300EUR / ton.
  • Sewage sludge used in farming contains coliform bacteria, salmonella, dioxin, furan, and toxic elements such as Cu, Zn, Cd und Pb.
  • German and European legislation promotes regulations to support waste recycling and to foster environmental-friendly waste management.

THE SOLUTION

GREEN GLOBE processes organic substances, cellulose and certain sewage sludge into an environment-friendly fertilizer using a proven process that requires almost no energy.

GREEN GLOBE PROVIDES:

  • A sustainable waste management solution by natural recycling of organic waste, contributing to improving the environment and the global climate.
  • An affordable but high value fertilizer
for providing farming and nutrition in
underdeveloped areas e.g. in Africa and Asia.
  • A fertilizer that regenerates,
    restructures and revitalizes salinized
and acid soils of industry countries e.g. in Europe and America.
  • A high profitability due to low production costs versus high global demand for fertilizer.

GREEN GLOBE FERTILIZER RESOLVES MANY ISSUES

LESS SEWAGE WASTE

  • Fertilizer is made of sewage sludge and organic waste from cities and farms.
  • Quick production cycles of 3 hours make for high throughput of sewage sludge and organic waste.

HEALTHY SOIL AND CLEAR WATER

  • Nutrients are bound to the plant roots and can not emit to ground water.
  • No pollution of ground water with nitrate.
  • Rehabilitation and revitalization of noxious and dry soil.

LESS CLIMATE KILLER

  • No emission of greenhouse gasses CO2 and methane and pollutants during fertilizer production.
  • No generation of laughing gas during fertilization.
  • No energetic footprint of fertilizer production.

OUR TECHNOLOGY

GREEN GLOBE IS AN ORGANIC RECYCLING PRODUCT

Green Globe process is recycling secondary raw material such as:

  • Urban sewage sludge
  • Dung from chicken farms and kettle farms
  • Cellulose sludge from paper production
  • Slaughterhouse waste
  • Food waste
  • Mineral meal
  • Timber waste, straw, fether, and other organic fiber

THE PROCESS

Result is a combined pelletized dry fertilizer providing unique features:

  • The natural fiber pellet design binds the
nutrients to the fiber structure and permanently
provides nutrition to the plant roots.
  • This prevents lessivage and resulting pollution
    of ground water.
  • Reactive elements are bound to the fiber
    structure preventing climate-wrecking gases.
  • The production runs contained in an exothermal
reaction without external energy and emission.

UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS OF GREEN-GLOBE FERTILIZER

The Green Globe process comes with some key advantages such as low energy consumption, avoidance of emissions, CO2 and odor, and a short processing time.

  • An exothermal reaction aspart of the production process disposes all germs, bacteria and viruses within the fertilizer.
  • The final product is inert
  • The production process does not require any primary energy from oil, coal, gas or timber.

PATHBREAKING NEW FERTILIZER SOLUTIONS

Sustainable and eco-friendly Farming

  • Only one application of fertilizer per growth.
  • Cycle as nutrients remain at the root zone.

Local Solutions

  • Regional Green Globe plants serve the needs of waste and sewage management and provide soil specific fertilizer to local farms.

Individuel Fertilizer for each Region

  • Individual customizing of fertilizer according to plant type and soil conditions.
  • Composition of nutrients can be adjusted to best utilize challenging soil types.

Wellness for the Soil

  • Revitalization of depleted and parched soils.
  • Long-lasting storage of moisture within the pellet-fibers allows for growing plants in extremely dry areas.
